Seal of Prevention
For the second year in a row, ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ has received the due to its commitment to creating a safer, more inclusive campus through comprehensive, evidence-based digital prevention education on sexual assault, alcohol misuse, mental health, and discrimination. According to Vector Solutions, higher education institutions that receive the CPN Seal of Prevention, on average, have an 8% higher first-year retention rate and 9% higher on-time four-year graduation rate compared to those that have not achieved the Seal.

Title IX and Women's History
Many Black women like Rosa Parks, Fannie Lou Hamer, Dorothy Height, Diane Nash, and Kathleen Cleaver helped shape the Civil Rights movement, which helped pave the way for Title IX; a law that prohibits sex discrimination in federally funded education institutions, sponsored by Patsy Mink, the first woman of color to serve in Congress. The main objective is to highlight women's achievements, promote gender equality, and inspire future generations by showcasing the impact of women across various fields. Healing With Words

The VP&I program is excited to announce that we are hosting a journaling workshop from January 28 - March 4. This is an opportunity to dive into yourself and heal through words! Each student will receive a 10th edition “Milk and Honey” book and the journal “Healing Through Words." If you’re interested, please visit the link to sign up.
